Suggestions

This site is a constantly evolving project. If you would like to suggest an entry for any of the lists on Taking Names and Making Lists, I invite you to do so in the comments on this page. In addition to the suggested entry, please include the name of the list to which it applies, the source from which it is derived (i.e. the title of the source and whether it is a book, comic, film, television show, etc.), and, if possible, the page number or episode in which it is referenced. If I can verify it and it fits my criteria, I shall add it.

Speaking of criteria, it might be helpful to note some of them here:

1. The lists of computers, weapons, robots, and spaceships are limited to live action and mixed live action film, television, and Internet video media. Strictly animated media are not the subject of these lists.
2. The list of spaceships is further limited to named vessels. Those not named in the media in which they are depicted are ineligible for inclusion.
3. The list of fictional swear words draws from any source that can be described — even if only marginally — as science fiction, speculative fiction, or fantasy.
